Job Description : Full and/or Part Time: Bilingual (English/Spanish) and/or monolingual (English) Infant Toddler Developmental Specialists (ITDS). CMS-ES enrolled and ready to start (preferred) cases available. **Apply Only if you Qualify**The ITDS works as an interdisciplinary team member and focuses on the development of children ages birth to three. The ITDS maintains a caseload, providing caregiver coaching, family training, and special instruction of developmentally age-appropriate activities in the children’s natural environments. The ITDS, in consultation with other early intervention providers on the child and family’s team, assists the family and caregivers in understanding the special needs of the child and enhancing the child’s development.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Build rapport with families and team members.Assist in the development of functional outcomes and goals on the child’s Individualized Family Support Plan (IFSP)Communicate with families about their child’s development, strengths, and needs.Assist families with embedding functional strategies into their daily routines and activities.Monitor and adjust strategies to meet the child and family’s changing needs.Participate in meetings and consultations relating to the child’s outcomes, goals, and IFSP.QUALIFICATIONS:Two pathways:1. In-field degree: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited College or University and one year of paid post-graduation experience with children birth through 4 yrs. with special needs or developmental delays.PsychologyCommunication SciencesEarly Childhood EducationEarly Childhood/Special EducationChild & Family DevelopmentFamily Life SpecialistSocial WorkAn equivalent degree based on a transcript review. For the degree to be considered “equivalent”, the applicant: Must have completed a minimum of 18 credit hours (typically six courses) in one of the approved fields of study.2. An out-of-field degree and a minimum of five years post-graduation professional experience in early intervention, which must be hands-on experience with children from birth through 4 years old with special needs or developmental delays.Requires the ability to:Complete Early Steps Attestation Checklist for credentialing & approvalComplete required local Early Steps training requirementsSubmit and adhere to Provider Agreement requirements per local, state, and federal policy.Pass Level II Background ScreeningApply for Early Intervention Medicaid numberEnroll with Region 1 Managed Care Medicaid PlansTravel between various locationsWork independently as well as a team member.Independently manage and maintain caseload and schedule.Appropriately interact and communicate with individuals from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.Maintain accuracy and confidentiality with all correspondence and records.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay: $41,600.00 – $62,400.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Signing bonusExperience:Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)Work Location:Multiple locationsWork Remotely:NoWork Location: Multiple Locations
