Job Description : Job Description
Responsible for the oversight of collegewide recruitment efforts and transition programs. Manages special programs and strategic initiatives targeting various prospect markets to support optimal college enrollment. Trains staff for programming to include admission, registration, student advisement, college fairs, college tours, and college transition programs.
Minimum Base Pay: $63,619.00. All salary calculations start at the minimum salary and will be based on candidate’s education and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Guides, leads, reviews, verifies, observes, and manages the work of people reporting directly to you. Monitors and evaluates the performance of your employees.
Counsels employees on company policies, procedures and practices to ensure a sound employee relation environment. Guides professional development and provides motivation and mentoring to team members.
Maintains professional relationships with secondary and post-secondary administrators and other district and school personnel.
Provides direction and input to enrollment management efforts. Develops and maintains departmental policies and procedures to align recruitment initiatives and activities across all campuses.
Directs the collegewide recruitment programs and workshops.
Responsible for new student onboarding.
Develops and manages transition programs and partnerships with area colleges and universities.
Presents college information to community schools and organizations regarding the College’s degree program and certificate programs.
Maintains current knowledge of field or profession. Travels to training workshops, conferences, meetings and professional association events outside of college locations as needed.
Conducts all tasks related to the preparation of the annual and other periodic budgets for a department, campus, or college.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications :
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Four years of related experience, to include supervisory experience
Knowledge of:
Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications
Student recruitment best practices
Skilled in:
Managing and resolving conflict in a positive manner
Creative thinking and problem solving to explore new technology, processes, and approaches
Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
Mentoring team members to develop goal setting plans, share knowledge and experiences
Ability to:
Analyze and interpret trends, patterns, and data to develop new conclusions based on the findings required
Interact in a positive manner with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations and take responsibility for a high level of service
Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
Regular physical attendance required
Valid Florida driver’s license
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
Lift, carry, push, pull, install or remove objects weighing 20 to 49 pounds
Reach and grasp objects
Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Stand for extended periods of time
Use of video display terminal
Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
Communicate information orally and in writing
Receive and understand information through oral and written communication
Proofread and check documents for accuracy
Operate motor vehicle
Work a fluctuating work schedule
