The purpose of the People & Culture function is to secure the competence within the organization in order to achieve our goals.The purpose of the People and Culture function is to support the managers and co-workers for them to be able to deliver the goal of delivering an exceptional customer experience. Provide HR subject matter expertise, process HR operations matters and ensure that the localized HR strategies are put into practice in the most effective and efficient way.This is a retail store level salaried position that reports directly to the Store HR Manager and does require availability to work week nights, weekends and holidays.Key Assignments and scope of responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring a qualitative and up-to-date succession plan by partnering with HR BP for legal entity, making use of global tools and processes for succession planningEnsures that internal investigations include an understanding of allegations, appropriate interviews, analysis and documentation, and recommendations for conclusion and course of action.Responsible for supporting a co-worker relations plan that effectively manages all local interactions with co-workers and ensures that all areas in the legal entities work with the labour relations principles and uphold local policies, procedures and laws – working in collaboration with Co-worker Relations ManagerProviding support and guidance to legal entity HR BP to ensure a consistent co-worker experience for all co-workersSecures that the location is in compliance with internal and external employment and labor standards.Qualifications & Key Competencies 3 years minimum Human Resources experience. 2 years minimum in leadership roleSHRM-CP or SCP, or SPHR or PHR certification PreferredDemonstrated experience with all HR disciplines.Previous experience with talent management, development and succession, high potential management, co-worker relations, change management, employment legislation, labor market understanding and trends, coaching and mentoring.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related areaStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProven record of developing people and organizational HR policiesKnowledge of how to implement long-term plans, according to set budgets and goalsKnowledge of how to engage co-workers throughout the co-worker journey and the year cycle.Knowledge about the rights and obligations of workers and employersKnowledge of identifying, assessing, encouraging and ensuring coworkers’ performance against organizational and individual goals.Applying tactical and operational thinking in order to create a people oriented working environmentCandidate must be able to work retail hours based on the business needs of the location including week days, week nights, weekends and holidays Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payApplication Question(s):Do you have at least 5 years of HR Management experience?Experience:Management: 5 years (Required)License/Certification:Professional In Human Resources (Preferred)Work Location: One location
