Position : Credit Analyst
Job Description : To be considered, candidates MUST meet the following requirements:Analyze financial and credit related data in order to assess the risk involved in extending and/or renewing credit to international and domestic corporate and non-corporate entities as well as to prospective and/or current institutional and non-institutional clients.Perform annual and quarterly credit risk reviews as needed.Contact corporate and non-corporate clients as well as institutional and non-institutional institutions when applicable.Estimate the capacity to service (proposed and/or current) debt and overall financial condition of prospect and/or current clients.Studies trends in firm’s industry or branch of industry to predict probable success of new and/or existing customer.Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as regulations, policies, procedures, financial statements and other vital documents.Maintain a close and highly responsive relationship with the day-to-day activities and minimum objectives of the International Credit Manager and supporting staff.Provide support to the Senior International Credit Officer as needed.Make constructive credit risk recommendations to management, backed by sound credit principles.Able to write routine reports and correspondence on a professional manner.Evaluate results of investigations, prepares reports of findings, assign credit risk grades and suggest credit limitations on current and/or prospective clients to management.Ability to effectively present financial and credit risk related information in one-on-one basis, as well as, to small group situations to other credit department employees or third parties.Qualifications: Bachelor degree (Accounting, Finance, Management or Business Administration preferred) from four (4) year college or university; or one year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills: Excellent Written/Verbal skills in both English and Spanish.
