Job Description : We are seeking a Gift Shop Attendant position in our Gift Shop at Opal Key Resort.The Gift Shop Attendant is directly responsible for the prompt, efficient, and courteous service of guests.The responsibilities of a gift shop attendant include, but are not limited to:· Follow standards of neatness and cleanliness for the shop in order to maintain customer appeal.· Know features and benefits of merchandise in the shop· Follow policies and procedures that affect inventory controls.· Maintain product knowledge of resort activities, facilities, and amenities to ensure personalized guest service.· Responsible for building report with guest, collecting monies and responsible of the cash drawer.Essential Qualifications:Must be able to speak, read, write EnglishRequires good communication skills, both verbal and written.Must possess basic computational ability.Must possess basic computer skills.Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions.Knowledge of retail operations.Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and stocking tasks.Opal Key Resort offers competitive pay, benefits to full-time employees and growth opportunity.*EOE & Drug Free Work PlaceJob Type: Full-timePay: From $18.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
