Job Description : Florida Keys Electric, Inc. is a Premier Electrical Contractor providing electrical, low voltage, and fire alarm services throughout Key West and the Florida Keys.We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for our main office location in Key West, FL. Should be self-motivated, have a positive attitude and be detailed oriented.Responsibilities: Handle various tasks for the President/Owner.Answer all incoming phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messagesDuties include responding to email, creating documents, filing and organizing documents, miscellaneous tasks and errand running.Type and distribute proposals.Assist and provide support to President/Owner, Office Manager, Controller, Project Managers, Estimators, and other team members as needed.Prepare/submit permit applications and schedule inspections.Order office supplies and maintain inventory.Qualifications & Skills: Must have knowledge of Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook.Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to multi-task.Experience in the construction and electrical industry is a plus.Ability to follow directions and take initiative when requiredExcellent communication and organizational skillsBi-lingual is a plus.Salary is based on experience.**PLEASE NOTE – WE ARE NOT THE UTILITY COMPANY.
