The interests of our clients and candidates are the top priority for usJob Description: We are looking for experienced Medical Billers with prior experience working on Workers Comp and No Fault insurance claims for our Lab Client in Linden, NJ.About Our Client: One of the largest Medical testing laboratory service in US that provides a complete range of tests for diagnosis, screening or evaluation of diseases and health conditions. Certified under the federal government’s Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and operate in compliance with all governmental regulations. Lab uses the latest diagnostic technology.Medical Biller Duties: · Submit reimbursement requests to Medicare and Medicaid· Obtaining referrals and pre-authorizations as required for procedures.· Process insurance claim for private, employer insurance, Workers Comp and No Fault reimbursements· Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and obtaining any missing information.· Enter charges accurately and expeditiously to ensure proper records handling and fast payment responses· Process and follow-up on payers denial, consulting with the patient and/or his or her family as needed· Post payments in a timely manner· Researching and appealing denied claims.· Research and resolve client billing problems or issues· Document payment records and issues as they occurQualification: · A High School Diploma· Knowledge of business and accounting processes usually obtained from an associate’s degree, with a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Health Care Administration preferred.Experience: · A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical/clinical lab settings.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Medical billing: 2 years (Preferred)Workers’ compensation: 1 year (Preferred)No Fault: 1 year (Preferred)Denials and Appeals: 1 year (Preferred)Medical/Clinical Lab: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
