Job Description : Summary:
Empower U. is a dynamic in-home mental health organization that is rapidly growing each year. Empower U. provides in-home psychotherapy to children in age ranges 5-21. We are seeking highly motivated, professional, licensed clinicians for full-time and per-diem positions. If you are interested in joining an innovative mental health agency, please consider the below responsibilities & requirements.
Pay: Starting pay $35.00 & up based on experience
Responsibilities:
Complete initial contact to referred families
Conduct therapeutic services within the home or community, as well as via telehealth when available
Provide necessary resources and support system development
Aid children and families by addressing a range of behavioral issues for the authorized number of hours weekly
Participate in children’s family team (CFT) conferences
Provide family advocacy as needed
Maintain and submit weekly progress notes and required paperwork
Participate in field supervision with the Clinical Supervisor
Consistent communication and follow-ups with agency core support team and leadership
Requirements:
This role requires a person who is experienced, comfortable, and patient with children & families who may have behavioral health or developmental disabilities and various mental health challenges
This role requires a person who is comfortable with assisting the youth with activities of daily living
Reliable transportation
This role requires satisfactory completion of a comprehensive criminal background check, driving record check, and professional references
This role requires a moderate level of computer literacy for documenting progress notes
This role requires an individual who holds a BA/BS in social work, psychology, education, or counseling.
Skills:
Experience with the Cyber Performcare system preferred
Fluency in languages in addition to English is a plus
