This person will work directly with the firm’s senior leadership to refine internal processes, analyze new inquiry, and help manage portfolio risk.Our NJ lending team is extremely customer centric and is experiencing tremendous growth. If you have a tireless drive to succeed, and a need for learning while growing personal and organizational success, come join the ABL team!JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze and perform risk assessments for bridge loansTake Loan Officer inquiries and discuss viability of opportunitiesConduct Borrower underwriting interviewsUpdate the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform with loan details and underwriting notes.Structure loans in accordance with ABL’s guidelinesProvide recommendations to credit committee on the approval or rejection of loansMaintain a robust pipeline of loans at various stages of underwritingReview appraisal reports, credit backgrounds, and other aspects of loans files prior to clearing them for closing.Coordination with operations for loan closingsInterface with loan buyers to increase efficiency of loan salesQUALIFICATIONS3+ years of underwriting or mortgage sales/operations experience in bridge loansTrack record of success working with a cross functional team in a fast-paced environmentCustomer service mindsetMeticulous attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be comfortable on the phoneTechnological proficiency including Microsoft Excel and similar toolsSpanish fluency a plusUS citizenship or green card required.High School Diploma requiredABOUT USEstablished in 2010, Asset Based Lending, LLC is a Hard Money Lender providing fast financing to real estate investors.
