Job Description : The Student Services Generalist will support Continuing Education and Workforce Development in the implementation of Elevate, the non-credit enrollment and course management system. In addition, the Student Service Generalist is the primary interface with students seeking entry into the Continuing Education and Workforce Development programs. The Generalist will be responsible for working with staff to ensure the proper implementation and use of the registration system, as well as registration of individuals through personal contact and follow through with the prospective student as she/he proceeds through the registration process.This is a grant funded position. Funded through HEERF II Institutional CRRSAA (Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act). The grant is to support higher education institutions to respond effectively to the coronavirus while preserving the learning environment. The funding is for the response of the ongoing crisis.Work with department and Information Technology staff to ensure implementation of registration system and document best practices.· Assists students with registration and tuition/fee payment instruction.· Provides on-going information to students and potential students regarding policies, programs, and procedures.· Recommends improvements to department procedures as needed.
