Volt is immediately hiring a Production Supervisor for a local leading organization in Pennsauken, NJ.
As a Production Supervisor you will:
Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock ERP system and recommend remedial action to resolve discrepancies.
Monitor the work of employees, provide feedback, perform coaching or counseling, development plans and maintain records of seniority, accumulated points, paid time off, training, etc for all union employees in the production department
Develop a cross training plan and meet cross training schedule requirements.
Monitor and track shift KPI’s
Allocate resources properly to priority machines and flows
Ensure machines are running properly
Follow all safety standards and ensure your team is following them
Ensure quality checks are performed on finished goods
Promote factory standards and compliances
Communicate any issues and resolutions, verbally and in writing to leadership team.
Production supervisor candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
High school diploma or equivalent
Up to 5 year experience in a relatable leadership position
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability to solve problems
Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements
This is a temp to hire position.
Schedule 6:30 am -7pm 3 days on 2 days off, 2 days on 3 days off and so on including 1 weekend per month.
Pay for this position is $28-$30 per hour depending on experience.
