Position : COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
Job Description : Short Description
Ability to develop communication tools for internal and external programs.
Work with the Communications team leadership to write and edit communications to educate, inspire, and engage employees and reinforce our core values, service standards, and brand messaging.
Draft speeches, comments, and talking points for executives speaking at internal and external events and work closely with the public relations and social media team to coordinate events and messaging.
Develop internal communications, public relations, and social media strategies to shape consistent brand messaging for internal and external audiences.
Work with team to write, produce, and edit audio and video communications for internal and external audiences.
Update intranet site and manage employee engagement app. Update public website as needed.
Assist public relations, social media, and website teams in crafting press releases, social media posts, and other communications.
Special Requirements
Education:
BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
Experience:
Preferred candidates with some experience in commuincations, audio and visual production, marketing, public relations, or social media. Hospital or health care experience a plus.
Required License/Certifications/ Registration:
Other Qualifications:
Exceptional written and spoken communications skills, excellent editorial judgment, and solid proofreading skills to ensure all materials are high-quality and accurate.
Working knowledge of concepts and principles of communications and marketing.
Must be deadline and detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills
Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Photoshop or other photo editing software.
