Position : Content Acquisition Consultant
Job Description : Our client, a major media company is looking for an Content Acquisition Consultant (Temp) to join there team .Job Description As a member of this team, you will perform critical web-based research, assist with data gathering and data entry, and contribute to editorial projects in support of the Team’s strategic initiatives. In this role you will partner closely with the Content Services and Legal teams, and will work closely with external partners including publishers, agents, and authors.Primary Responsibilities:Enter and maintain records in the Team’s Salesforce databaseProvide general support to team-members as-neededAssist with high-priority, urgent research projectsGenerate sales and performance reports using various business intelligence systemsResearch contract terms by reviewing contracts, amendments, addendums, and contract databaseRequest contracts for new content, payee changes, content terminations, etc.Review submissions and catalogs from various content providersNegotiate renewal dealsBasic Qualifications:B.A., B.S., or equivalent degreeFluency in Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, Salesforce, and similar toolsExperience working with databases and high volumes of informationExcellent business judgment, detail and accuracy oriented, exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), and a track record of proven success.Excellent organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner.Self-starter attitude and ability to build a strong rapport and trust with resources across multiple functional areas.Preferred Qualifications:1-3 years experience in the publishing industryRights licensing and deal negotiation experienceProject Location: Remote but may have to travel to the office in Newark, NJCandidates must be vaccinatedTemporary RoleJob Types: Full-time, TemporaryPay: $35.50 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Publishing Industry: 2 years (Preferred)Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
