Job Description : Responsibilities: Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needsCoordinate container moves in/out of Newark portsCoordinate moves between RED Trucking Warehouses, and RED Trucking customersEnsure drivers have proper paperwork and credentials prior to departureEnsure that shipping data is entered into the system timely and accuratelyMaximize revenue per load, per dayCommunicates dispatch instructions and expectations to driversCommunicates driver issues to management and assists with resolutionProvide leadership, accountability and support to assigned driversMeet and exceed company established KPI’s, monitoring performanceAdhere to company, state and federal DOT/OSHA/FMCSA requirementsProvide customer support as needed, answering questions and addressing needsFollowing drivers routes and making sure they are practicing safe habitsQualifications: High school diploma or GED.2-3 years of experience as a truck dispatcher in a similar industry.Exceptional ability to schedule drivers, plan routes, and dispatch drivers to customer locations.Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws.Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.Job Type: Full-timeMonday to FridayWork Location: One locationKnowledge of: Profit ToolsCitrixGoogle VoiceExcelJob Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayNight shiftOvertimeWeekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate:Newark, NJ 07105: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Dispatchers: 1 year (Preferred)Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
