The Boeing Repair Management Services – Government team is seeking an Entry Level Supply Chain Specialist to join the team in Ridley Park, PA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS).
The RMS-G team is responsible for component repair, overhaul, warranty support and modifications across the C-17, Vertical Lift, Fighter, and Commercial Derivative Aircraft platforms. This position is to support Vertical Lift programs.
Position Responsibilities
Responds to requests for quotes.
Responds to post production customer supply inquiries and coordinates delivery problem resolution.
Assists in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities and capacity.
Repair, Overhaul, Warranty & Modification Order Management
Manage the entire lifecycle of the repair/overhaul process including induction of repairable part through delivery to customer.
Responsibility for monitoring and coordinating the movement of repair carcasses and material required to support repairs to and from authorized repair sources.
Track repair order performance to organization’s Key Performance Indicators and program specific targets
Responsibility for accurate record keeping of customer assets throughout the repair process
Provide functional Repair Management support and analysis to Programs and Supply Chain stakeholders.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Experience in Supply Chain
Experience working under pressure in a fast paced role with strict deadlines
Experience working both independently and in team environments
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher; or equivalent work experience
Experience with inventory management systems or database applications
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years’ related work experience).
Relocation:
