Job Description : Milestone Partners (“Milestone”) is a lower middle-market private equity firm that makes control equity investments in mature businesses with a focus on financial services, tech-enabled solutions, and tech-driven manufacturing. Milestone was founded in 1995 and is based in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. To support the firm’s ongoing investment and portfolio management activities, Milestone is seeking to add an Analyst to its team. The Analyst will be an integral part of a lean organization and will assist with the evaluation of new investment opportunities, ongoing monitoring and support for portfolio companies, conduct relevant industry and company research, and provide any additional support as needed to the deal team(s).Primary Responsibilities:· Evaluate new investment opportunities· Actively participate in the due diligence process· Engage in all aspects of transaction execution· Assist the deal team with the creation of detailed financial models and returns analysis· Prepare memoranda to present investment opportunities to the investment committee· Conduct research on relevant industry segments and competitive landscapes· Monitor and support portfolio companies· Work on other ad-hoc projects as neededQualifications:· Bachelor’s degree (recent graduates will be considered)· 0-1 years (preferred) of relevant experience, preferably in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, management consulting, or related financial services· Understanding of financial statements and experience with financial modeling· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint· Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines· High level of professionalism and integrity, with sound business judgment· A connection or strong desire to work in the Philadelphia areaThe Analyst position at Milestone offers a unique learning experience along with competitive compensation and benefits.
