Job Description : Job Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Remote
Job Summary:
The Junior Fixed Income Trader will assist the Senior Traders with processing and execution of fixed income securities including (but not limited to) municipal, corporate, agency, and government bonds. Additional responsibilities will include clearing and settlement of fixed income trades.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Execute fixed income orders on behalf of portfolio managers, advisers, and other financial institutions on both the buy and the sell side
Source bond liquidity to identify and execute at the best price given current market conditions
Process post-executed fixed income trades and recon to ensure settlement
Provide market insight to clients on both bid and ask side
Handle the operation/administrative duties associated with fixed income trades
Monitor retail client electronic order flow
Assist sales and equity traders as needed
Place mutual fund orders
