Job Description : Overview: An outstanding veterinary clinic in the Pocono Mountains is seeking a Practice Manager to lead our fantastic team!The Practice Manager oversees the business activities of the hospital, including: managing daily operations of the hospital and team, hiring and training hospital support staff, monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators, maintaining inventory and an inventory control system, and implementing safety procedures, as well as other management functions.Responsibilities: Supervises the staff within all hospital support departments.Responsible for timely performance feedback, skill and management development of all hospital personnel.Participates in onboarding new hires and all new hire paperwork.Orients and trains new clinic staff to the hospital and duties.Reviews work performance of direct reports, constructively delivers feedback, resolves routine personnel issues and conducts timely performance appraisals.Oversees employee annual performance evaluation process.Manages schedules for technical and administrative staff, coordinates DVM and support schedules with the Medical Director.Achieves and maintains all labor goals.We offer a generous compensation package based on experience.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:veterinary: 2 years (Preferred)management: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
