Job Description : We have an exciting opportunity for a Writer/Editor. This opportunity is a long term contract with potential to extend or go permanent.
Writer/Editor Responsibilities:
Write creative, effective copy according to project specifications and creative brief
Maintain single narrative voice, implementing consistency throughout content balancing supplier needs with company standards
Research clients, their competitors, and target audience to support creative strategy and inform the execution
Provide writing support for aligned client groups, as well as providing support to other clients as demand and scheduling requires
Edit and proofread materials, producing zero errors
Collaborate with design team as needed
Implement SEO enhancements for web/digital content
Adhere to regulatory and compliance regulations
Liaise with internal web and print design team to finalize content and coordinate publishing
Writer/Editor Requirements:
5+ years of experience with professional-level writing
Portfolio/writing samples required
Ability to complete competitive analyses efficiently and maximize utilization of internal resources
Ability to produce rapidly (short bites vs. long-form content)
Proficiency in AP and/or Chicago Manual of Style
Demonstrated proficiency in: Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
Understanding of biopharma, life sciences, healthcare
Ability to maintain a consistent voice and audience focus in writing
Bachelors degree required
