We help our customers coordinate fabrics, colors and texture, and suggest designer touches that make all the difference.We have corporate offices located in Southern Chester County, PA (Kennett Square) that support our 400+ associates throughout the country.We have a fabulous career opportunity for someone to join our Corporate Human Resources team as a Recruitment Specialist. This position will partner with company leaders to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the business and to deliver the best talent for the company. This role will be responsible for the full spectrum of the hiring plan from identifying needs, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new creative recruiting ideas, shortlisting candidates, and closing successful hires. This individual will ultimately be responsible for enhancing Calico’s brand as a great place to work to ensure the company can attract, hire, and retain people who can contribute to the company’s success.This position can work remotely as long as individual is able to travel to Kennett Square, PA corporate offices as needed.Responsibilities: Work closely with both corporate and store hiring managers to forecast recruitment needs and to develop a hiring plan. This includes ensuring job requirements and expectations are clearly understood, job descriptions are well written, and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.Manage full cycle recruiting process — source, screen, shortlist, interview, and guide hiring managers through the hiring process — for all positions within organization.Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, through professional networks and referrals. Proactively cultivate candidate networks and relationships in order to have leads for future openings.Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidates. Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates.Develop and implement strategic initiatives to increase diversity within the workforce.Improve and market company’s on-line presence, making sure that company maintains a positive reputation as an employer (i.e., Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and other social media).Stay abreast of recruitment trends, best practices, and emerging staffing solutions.Participate in internal talent management, identifying candidates for promotions and assisting in succession planning process.Track and report on key metrics that are designed to measure and predict staffing activity. (i.e., time to hire, source of hire and time to fill open positions).Qualifications: Proven track record of success in a recruiting role, having had responsibility for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for multiple positions concurrently. Preference given to those with recruitment experience in a multi-unit retail environment.Should have 3-5 years of experience with full-cycle recruitment.Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.Proficient with Microsoft Office as well as various ATS and HRIS systems.Hands on experience with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems. This includes work experience doing resume database searches.Well versed in various interview techniques (i.e., phone screening calls, video interviewing, group interviews, in-person meetings.).Experience with social media recruiting including prior use of LinkedIn Recruiter.Knowledge and understanding of employment policies and procedures including federal and state laws regarding employment practices.Ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize duties.Ability to work in conjunction with other departments.Quick learner with the ability to think fast on your feet.Proven ability to support a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of candidates and accommodate different time zones such as working in early morning and/or evenings.
