We are eager for your input, ideas, and inspiration.Position Description: The Assistant Director of Marketing & Analytics will plan and execute integrated marketing programs for all Institute exhibits, programs, and initiatives. The Assistant Director will track, analyze, and report market trends and attendance/sales data to maximize the marketing program impact. The Assistant Director will also be responsible for:Manage communications agency partnersManage creative development of all marketing materials with in-house design team, ensuring a consistent brand image across all mediums.Analyze and report marketing plan delivery, attendance, and target audience data to maximize effectiveness of marketing initiatives.Coordinate media promotions negotiated by communications agency partners as part of advertising media plans.Secure trade advertising.Negotiate, execute, and report on 3rd-party ticketing opportunities (IVCC, CityPass, etc.)Monitor all partners’ execution of promotional elements to ensure effective execution and compliance.Manage the orderly planning, coordination, and execution of events sponsored by Marketing, both in the Museum and in the community.Optimize and manage marketing database.Track marketing budget.Develop mutually-beneficial relationships with other cultural institutions and organizations, including VisitPhilly, PCVB, and the Cultural Alliance.Internship management.Staff marketing events as needed.Other duties as assigned.Position RequirementsBS in Marketing or related field.Minimum seven (7) years marketing experience in a supervisory capacity.Experience in the cultural arts, museum, themed entertainment, sports, or attractions preferred.Demonstrated ability in strategic analysis and planning.Excellent written and oral communications skills.Excellent relationship skills and ability to interact with a variety of audiences.Detail oriented.Strong organizational and prioritization skills.Database management and analysis experience a must.Experience with all media platforms.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Fully vaccinated is defined as at least two weeks after your final dose.
