Position : Public Works Laborer
Job Description : The Township of West Manheim is seeking an individual for a full-time position in our Public Works Department. The work shall include repairs and maintenance to trucks and equipment, tree trimming, leaf pick up, general road maintenance duties, paving, snow and ice removal from township roads, etc. Previous experience and a Class B CDL is a plus, but not required. Paving experience is preferred. The ability to lift 75 lbs. is required. Starting hourly rate is $18.00 per hour. Higher pay rate is negotiable if applicant has a Class A or B CDL and/or extensive paving experience. A drug screen and a clean driving record are required.The individual must have a positive attitude and work ethic and must interact well with the public.
