Each location has 20+ shooting lanes and a huge selection of rental firearms for our customers to utilize.Midwest Shooting Center offers memberships which provide premium facility access, to include an exclusive member only lounge, unlimited access to the shooting lanes, free guest passes for members to utilize with friends and family, and generous discounts on firearm rentals/training/and private lockers.Each of our locations generate over $9,000,000 in annual revenue and employ approximately 30 employees.GENERAL MANAGERMidwest Shooting Center is looking for a self-motivated and results-driven General Manager to direct and manage our organization’s business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs.Duties for the General Manager will include managing resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities.Your entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions will assist our organization in maintaining relationships with our members, generating new business, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring safety, and meeting business objectives.The successful candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions, exceptional budgeting and finance skills, and strong leadership qualities. A history in the firearms industry is not required.General Manager Responsibilities: · Overseeing daily business operations and reporting to senior management.· Developing and implementing growth strategies.· Training junior-level managers and staff by leading daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings.· Creating and managing budgets.· Improving revenue.· Hiring employees.· Evaluating performance and productivity through monthly and quarterly evaluations.· Analyzing reports and adjusting the local business to ensure business performance remains strong.· Researching and identifying growth opportunities.· Generating reports and giving presentations.· Oversee facility compliance and safety standards.General Manager Requirements: · Strong leadership qualities.· Excellent communication skills.· Highly organized.· Strong work ethic.· Good interpersonal skills.· Meticulous attention to detail.· Computer competencies.· Entrepreneurial spirit.Education and Experience Requirements: · High School Diploma or equivalent.· At least 2 years of successful management experience.· University, Vocational, or Military leadership training and experience a plus.Job Type: Full-timeJob Type: Full-timePay: $72,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingEmployee discountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCommission payEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer service: 2 years (Required)Retail Store Managers: 2 years (Required)Work Location: One location
