Summary:
The Associate Recruiter guides hiring managers and candidates through recruitment process and is responsible for screening, interviewing, and referring a diverse pool of talent for various high-volume positions throughout the Hospital.
Responsibilities:
Plans and executes recruiting activities including screening, interviewing, testing, and referring.
Consults with managers and employees in the organization as a representative of the HR Department and participates in departmental activities including performance and process improvement.
Knowledgeable of and adheres to employment law and recruitment & Hospital policies, procedures, and practices.
Onboards new hires and follows up with new hires as needed to assure timely completion; completes new hire record in HRIS.
Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all recruitment activities.
Other duties as required.

Technical Expertise
Experience in hiring and onboarding employees is required.
Experience in applicable State and Federal employment laws is required.
Experience in working with all levels within an organization is required.
Experience in medium to large sized organizations is preferred.
Experience in healthcare is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. ATS is required/preferred.
Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.
Certification: HR certification [PHR, SHRM-CP] is preferred.
Years of experience: 0 to 2 years is required.
Years of experience supervising: None.
