Job Description : EHR Specialist / Brook ParkWelcome to REACH Behavioral Health! We are an accredited mental health agency with locations throughout Northeast Ohio. We believe through empathic, evidenced-based therapy, we can positively impact the lives of our clients.We are searching for an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Specialist to join our Central Office in Brook Park. The EHR Specialist is responsible for maintaining REACH’s current electronic health system, identifying and implementing changes to increase its ease of use for front-line employees, and ensuring that billing and reporting are completed both efficiently and accurately. In addition, the EHR Specialist is responsible for training front-line employees, providing ongoing support, and monitoring that the system allows the quality and accuracy of data entered.Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain REACH’s current electronic health record, enter new procedure codes, payers, and create/modify forms to document REACH’s servicesIdentify and implement improvements within the information systems as it relates to front-line employees, billing, reporting, and administrationProvide training and/or assistance for employees working within the electronic health systemEnsure data entered in the electronic health system is clear and accurateDevelop systems to collect needed data and provide reports for managementCoordinate with the billing department to eliminate errors and ensure that billing is sent in a timely mannerMaintain compliance with state and federal laws and agency policies and procedures outlined by REACH’s accrediting agencyJob RequirementsPrevious experience working with an enterprise electronic health record / electronic medical recordPrevious experience with Hyland OnBase client and/or carelogicPrevious experience with medical/behavioral health agencies including the understanding of their regulatory bodiesDegree in related field is preferredExcellent verbal, written, and management skillsJob ScheduleThe job follows a year-round schedule for a total of 249 work days in a yearThe hours follow a standard work day with additional crisis management needed on occasion in the eveningWorking ConditionsWork is performed in an office environmentApply today!Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
