Job Description : The Asset Protection Campus Supervisor has the shared responsibility of protecting our assets which include people, product and property. Our mission is to become the leading Safety Services department whose capabilities, knowledge of our business and understanding of our customer allows us to ensure associate safety and respond to crisis situations. The Supervisor serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all operations and procedures of AP Campus team and provides leadership and operational guidance to the team. The Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the team and is responsible for the hiring, coaching, and development of AP Officers and Lead Officers. The EOC Supervisor reports to an AP Campus Manager and has 5-15 direct reports.RESPONSIBILITIES: · Hire, coach and develops a team of Asset Protection Officers and Lead Officers.· Manages daily operations of team in alignment with enterprise and functional goals.· Observe and accurately complete incident assessments and reports; and follow up on incidents which may include but are not limited to: First Aid, Life Safety and Internal Theft· Drive Action Readiness Program to ensure team preparedness to react responsively and urgently to campus incidents.· Support inspections and adherence to safety protocol and regulations at enterprise, state, and international levels.· Seek out and build partnerships with internal customers; through intimate working knowledge of our customers priorities· Lead internal theft investigations and conduct appropriate interviews· React and respond urgently, as first and supporting responders, to campus safety and medical incidents.· Identify and assess safety related incidents which may include but are not limited to: First Aid, Life Safety and Internal Theft.· Communicate with executive level partners, external partners and local law enforcement/emergency responders· Manage department and enterprise performance administration· Oversee weekly shift schedules for the campus· Facilitate/Participate in training processes with all new officers and initiatives· Manage projects and initiatives in support of the business.· Monitors and maintains the compliance with C-TPAT, OSHA, EPA and state and local regulations pertaining to safety, fire safety and environmental protection.· Maintain detailed and current knowledge of the campus (logistics operations, campus layout, and key business partners).· Demonstrates expert written and verbal communication skills to accurately report incidents dealing with theft, safety, and other loss prevention issues· Retain and implement knowledge of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, demonstrating responsible and dependable behavior, and is open to change and adapts to new information or unexpected obstacles· Ensure associates, vendors and visitors follow safety and security related policies and procedures· Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Campus ManagerQualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in emergency management or criminal justice; preferred· 2+ years of experience leading teams· 3 to 5 years of security/safety experience preferred· Strong decision making capability· Ability to builds rapport and fosters relationships working well within a team-oriented environment· Ability to work under stress and defuse emotional situations and effectively deliver instructions regarding safety· Excellent organizational and project management skills· Excellent customer service skills· Effective written and verbal communication skills· Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite, SAP, access control software & Web based programs· Basic computer skills including but not limited to MS Office,· First Aid, CPR and AED certification – annually certified· Ability to multi-task and work a flexible schedule including a combination of days, evenings, nights, and weekends.Physical Requirements: · Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs.· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time (up to 2 hours)· Ability to climb a standard ladder up to 15 feet· Ability to climb stairs (2 or more flights at one time) at a casual, brisk or rapid pace· Ability to walk continuously for extended periods of time (2 or more hours)· Ability to walk over uneven terrain· Ability lift or drag up to 105 lbs. up to 50 feet· Job duties require working in inclement weather· May be required to work weekends and holidaysJob Type: Full-timePay: From $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOn callSupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location: Multiple Locations
