Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and motivated Manufacturing Associates (Assemblers) to join our team! Come find your career at Parker! We believe in empowering our team members- from High Performance cross functional teams to Lean activities. This position is for our second shift (3:30pm-12AM Monday-Friday). Must be available for overtime! Starting hourly range $22.90-$26.94 with a $.40 per hour shift differential. There will be a 2.25% raise to all wages in August 2021.
Responsibilities
Assemble hydraulic pumps and motors. Plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of operations and processes; Oversee preparation of work to be accomplished by studying the job packet and work instruction. Resolve problems to meet specifications; Ensure documented actions occur by completing production and quality forms. Keep equipment operational and in specification by alerting Quality Control or Maintenance of preventive maintenance requirements. Maintain product quality by following established procedures and customer requirements; promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, policies, training and regulations. Provide on the job training and cross training to increase rotation, responsiveness and flexibility within the work teams. Communicate and assist troubleshooting for quality problems. Communicate all pertinent information to supervisor and teammates. Participate in continuous improvement project team activities and other activities as directed by Supervisor. Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Technical ability. Experience utilizing hand tools. Ability to use basic measuring instruments. Ability to work with minimum supervision / guidance. Ability to work with heavy materials. Good troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to fulfill business requirements. Willing to participate in Company designated training geared to enhance leadership, technical and safety skills. Work ranges between light to heavy, consisting of frequent exertion of lifting from five to 24 lbs. Requires standing throughout work shift. Must be able to stand and work eight to ten hours per day.
