Job Description : We are seeking a Web Developer with a passion for quality and continuous improvement. We build Drupal and WordPress websites for enterprise brands. This remote role offers the ability to work on cutting edge projects with an established Web Development Agency.PHP, javascript, CSS and GIT skills are required. A passion for web strategies and an interest in learning client leadership is a must.Tasks may include Drupal or WordPress architecture, front-end development, automated testing suites, Google Tag Manager customization, Google Optimize javascript development and agile project management practices.Skills such as prototyping, eCommerce experience, responsive design, etc. will be valuable.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Participate on multiple projects at the same timeWork in an independent fashion, solve problems, make decisions, and communicate effectively in difficult situations.Our team is spread out around the country and you must be comfortable working with remote team members.Scope projects with a high degree of accuracy, define requirements and metrics for successEnsure that all deliverables meet or exceed BigTuna Interactive’s incredibly high standards of creativity and functionality. Delivering amazing results in a way that does not jeopardize budget or schedule is your specialtyYou are adept at working independently and proactively, always looking for the best ways to accomplish client goals. You also communicate clearly in difficult situations.Ideal qualificationsOur team is spread out around the country and you must be comfortable working with remote team members.Strong knowledge of PHP and Composer.Experience writing object-oriented PHP code.Strong knowledge of database design and deployment for dynamic Web sites using MySQL and other similar SQL databases.Experience with WordPress or Drupal and knowledge of their respective API’s.Experience with a JavaScript framework (such as Vue, React, Angular, or Node).Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., CircleCI).Experience with Apache Solr is a plus.Experience with WP Engine, Acquia and Pantheon is a plus.Experience with Git version control and Gitflow workflows.Experience with agile software development processes.Qualifications * You have a portfolio of work samples.Strong knowledge of web development and online marketing technologies.
