Job Description : Front Desk AssistantSummary: Spectrum Orthopedics Inc. is looking for a Full-Time Front Desk Assistant in North Canton, OH. Responsibilities include interaction with patients, visitors, SO therapists, doctor’s offices, managed care, and insurance companies in person and/or over the telephone. Position also involves computer use to help facilitate operations, as well as general office support work. There is also considerable detailed work with records. The work schedule is primarily weekday business hours but can include some evening.Duties and Responsibilities: Performs computer work.Creates and maintains patient records.Schedules and/or coordinates patient appointment visits.Prepares billing information.Provides customer service.Represents the Outpatient Services Department to third party insurers.Performs various general office duties.Practices and promotes safe work habits and environment.Performs similar duties as assigned by supervisor/management.QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalentAt least one year experience in a medical office environment preferredDetail oriented with excellent organizational and customer service skillsProfessional oral and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of personal computers, including WordTeam building skillsBenefits: Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceProfit sharing planJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
