Position : Maintenance Manager
Job Description : We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. This candidate will be responsible for managing and continually improving predictive, preventive, and reactive maintenance processes for the facility to ensure reliability of equipment and systems in support of meeting safety, profitability, cost and production goals. Able to organize, prioritize, schedule maintenance work orders and follow-up as required. Responsible for requisition/order parts and supplies needed to maintain building and equipment. Direct and supervise maintenance employees. Ensure that breakdowns or disruptions in the production processes are minimized. Manages department spending and performance. Initiates programs and procedures to reduce spending and enhance performance. Works with managers effectively to ensure policies and goals of the organization are met or exceeded. Determines skill gaps within the department and defines training to bridge the gaps. Promotes good housekeeping. Maintains safety in the workplace and aware of environmental aspects, impacts, targets, and objectives to ensure continuous improvement of our systems.ResponsibilitiesDevelop maintenance procedures and ensure implementationCarry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issuesCheck electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionalityPlan and oversee all repair and installation activitiesAllocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, janitors etc.)Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessaryMonitor expenses and control the budget for maintenanceManage relationships with contractors and service providersKeep maintenance logs and report on daily activitiesEnsure health and safety policies are complied withSkillsBA/BS degree and/or 2-5 years of prior maintenance experienceStrong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic background.Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.Good communication with management, hourly employees, and vendors.Ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle stress in a professional manner and maintain a positive attitude.Experience in planning maintenance operationsSolid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipmentAbility to keep track of and report on activityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational and leadership abilitiesValid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceAbility to commute/relocate:Conneaut, OH 44030: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Maintenance management: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Work Location: One location
