Position : Pool Attendant, The Lodge at Geneva
Job Description : The Opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for Pool Attendants to join our team at The Lodge at Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. As a Pool Attendant you will help create a great guest experience by keeping the property pool clean and sanitized and also help guests.
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour!
Some locations may implement a vaccination requirement in the future if required by federal, state, or local law.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of the pool area by organizing equipment, gathering towels and trash and ensuring pool area is neat and orderly
Cleans tables of all debris and ensures all tables/chairs are clean
Maintaining control of towels for guests. Ensure fresh towels are available daily for guests
Ensures sanitation guidelines are followed for the Pool Area
Interacts with guest while cleaning and organizing the pool area.
Ensures all lost & found items are taken to the Front Desk for logging
Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Reports maintenance repair problems to Supervisor.
Ensures sanitation guidelines are maintained.
Ensures all linen rooms and work areas are neat, clean and organized.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Limited to no experience required; previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred.
Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools and fixtures.
Ability to work quickly under pressure.
Ability to follow direction and instructions.
Guest service oriented.
Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.
Physical Requirements
Frequent walking and standing for entire length of shift.
Frequent climbing of stairs.
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying.
Use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing
