Job Description : The Millennia Commercial Group is looking for experienced Security Officers to join our team at Key Tower in Downtown Cleveland. We are looking for individuals available to work 3rd shift, 10:30pm-7:00am.Key Tower is the Premier Office Building in Cleveland, as well as an iconic landmark towering over the city at 57 floors of office and amenity space. We feature world-class amenities, both in and around the Tower, and breathtaking views of the lake in the heart of Downtown Cleveland, making working here vibrant and exciting. Our tenants are fortune 500 companies with a high-level service expectation. Key Tower has been maintained to near perfection since its opening nearly 30 years ago. We are looking for individuals who want to be a part of an award-winning team.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesEnforcement of property rules and regulations in a clear and concise mannerClearly communicate verbal direction and the ability complete written reports. Additional responsibilities include observing and reporting incidents and hazards to management/supervision, responding to emergencies and other tasks as assigned.Monitoring of Camera systems, fire alarm systems and other monitoring systems which protect the interior and exterior of the sitePerform routine equipment checks along with the conducting of opening and closing procedures concerning the safety of the buildingAid and allow access to authorized personnel and the ability to detect unauthorized personnel. Assist with with escorts of personnel, contractors and vendors as neededWork with local authorities and city entities to aid, direct and provide information during an emergencyOutstanding Customer Service skillsA team player willing to adjust to the needs of the building to provide safe and secure atmosphere for all who visit and work at the property.Availability and flexibility to work a set (40) hour schedule as well as overtime as needed, weekends and holidays upon requestRequired Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentAt least (2) years of security, military, safety or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment working for an in-house or contracted security company or guest services positionAny personnel with a reasonable combination of prior military or law enforcement, OPATA, Federal Emergency Management or National Incident Management training and/or experienceThe ability to obtain or have already successfully completed AED/CPR/First Aid CertificationThe employees of Key Tower (Millennia Commercial Group) receive many benefits including free surface lot parking and a full array of traditional benefits; medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO and Holiday Pay.
