This position is responsible for performing entry level receptionist duties, such as greeting and assisting customers, answering, and directing phone calls, taking messages, assisting residents navigating an online registration system, and maintaining department and County phone numbers, performing basic office duties, such as copying, filing, faxing, typing standard documents, preparing, sorting, and distributing mail, entering data, and running basic or standard reports. The position is also responsible for maintaining paper and electronic logs, forms, files, and other documents, prepares items for storage or destruction, and assists in maintaining the security and confidentiality of applicable information. The incumbent may also be responsible for scheduling conferences, County vehicles, and/or meetings.
This job entails fiduciary responsibility and will require a credit check.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and
One year of general office/ customer service experience
or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
