Serves as the schools Data analysis instructional leader to ensure both instructional and financial decisions are made to meet the individual and collective needs of students, teachers, parents and the community we serve. Implement systemic quality assurance processes to ensure the retention and development of an effective teacher in every classroom. Demonstrates the capacity to develop and maintain a high-functioning professional learning community.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Develops, implements, and analyzes assessments to determine learning mastery and review data to determine trends.Disaggregate data and create reports; and provide evaluative findings (including student achievement data) for the review of curriculum and instruction program effectiveness.Compiles and disseminates reports on student achievement (i.e. academic dashboards);Works cooperatively with school leaders, leadership teams, instructional coaches in developing and supervising the procedures for administering local and state assessments.Coordinate the ordering and use of all local and state assessment materials.Ensure network compliance with federal and state accountability requirements.Manages the Student Information System and school-based data managers.Provide stakeholders with valuable data and information for the purpose of informing instructional practices and promoting high levels of student achievement.Complete assessment calendar for the Network.Provide accurate and statistically appropriate reports.Plan and provide staff development for teachers, school leaders on educational trends, school-based testing coordinators on the requirements of the state assessment program and the state and federal accountability programs.Disseminate information regarding requirements of the state assessment program including test administration, security, and confidentiality.Analyze data including benchmark assessments, enrollment, attendance and demographic data.Plan, improve, and oversees local and state assessments.Monitor all school sites during the administration of state assessments.Compile, maintain, and file all state and federal reports.Advise and collaborate with the CAO and school leaders on carrying out the goals and objectives for meeting the Networks strategic plan.Advise and collaborate with the CAO/CFO and school leaders on organization issues, and student achievement based on current data and information for the purpose of ensuring accountability measures and network initiatives are being met.Serves as the lead liaison with LDOE assessment and accountability staff.Knowledgeable of state reporting systems (i.e. SIS, CUR, CRDC, SPC, STS, SPS, SER); FTPPlan and provide training for teachers, administrators and staff including the use of data analysis program; 504 accommodations and testing procedures and security.Operate a computer using office software for word processing database, spreadsheet, data management and disaggregation and project management.Performs other duties as assigned within roles and responsibilities.Develops curriculum and delivers initial and ongoing training for all data entry persons in the use of the class scheduling system. Training forums include classroom, individual and computer based. Creates, maintains and revises all scheduling related training and process documentation in infinite campusContinually assesses the progress and abilities of users; provides additional training and feedback to management, as needed.Audits the electronic schedule. Provides and directs necessary maintenance of the on-line information that is input by department users. Notifies departments of inconsistencies and facilitates modifications to data irregularities. Monitors the usability of existing audit reports and develops new reports when needed. Provides quality control of user input.Leads the continuing effort to improve the end-user system interface. Tests system upgrades. Is the preferred resource for providing solutions to class schedule entry and process issues.Troubleshoots problems with the printed, online schedules. Adds new courses to the schedule for multi-campus programs.Leads an ongoing effort to enhance the appearance and functionality of the class schedule.Works with the Curriculum Office to stay current with the changes being made to the master course data.Maintains and updates the system specific rules and procedures required for the operation of the class scheduling process.Acts as a system gatekeeper by approving requests for new accounts, special access and removing inactive accounts. Works behind the scene to create each new term in Infinite campus, updates schedule entry tables and forms, “rolls” the previous schedule into the new term; performs system updates to activate new terms, runs processes that facilitate the schedule downloads, enforces schedule deadlines.Maintains up to date knowledge of related systems.Performs other related duties as assigned.Responsible for the accuracy, maintenance, and security of all student records.Design and implement forms and processes to be used in student record keepingPrepare and distribute various required reports related to student recordsDevelop, implement, and oversee procedures for the application and registration process for curriculum programsOversee and organize graduation needs such as; planning the graduation ceremony, order diplomas, degrees, certifications, diploma covers, honor seals and communicationProvide Colleague support to faculty and staffVerify students for promotionOversee and coordinate the communications process once applications are processed and submittedProcess Credit by Exam, Advanced Placement and Apprenticeship ApplicationsVerify grades each semesterCoordinate information packets, checklists and procedures for competitive placement programs as neededAssists in administration of Educational Rights and Privacy Act (including release of information about former and/or current students) and other federal regulationsMeets required deadlines for federal, state, and institutional reportsCertifies attendance as neededIdentifies and notifies all students who are not meeting satisfactory academic progressDetermines residency classificationPerforms other duties as directedComputer skills including Word and ExcelAssist the Principal in establishing a Master Schedule for the school. 18. Check instructional materials and maintain inventories.Supervise instructional programs for the class assigned and/or for programs assigned by the Principal, evaluating lesson plans and observing classes on a regular basis to encourage the use of a variety of instructional strategies and materials consistent with research on learning and child growth and development.Develop with individual staff members a Professional Improvement Plan (PIP).Ensure that the instructional programs engage the learner in tasks that require analytical and critical thinking, questioning the known, problem solving and creativity, that they address each student’s needs, interests, and skill levels, that they encourage the student to define individual goals and accept responsibility for learning, and that they provide a variety of methods for the student to demonstrate performance and accomplishments.Assist the Principal with curriculum development, program evaluation, allocation of instructional materials and resources, and coordination of activities of departments assigned, ensuring that curriculum is current and addresses the Core Curriculum Content Standards.Review progress reports and mid-year and final examinations for the departments assigned.Supervise certified and non-certified personnel as assigned by the Principal to ensure that all job responsibilities are met and exceeded.Ensure that personnel evaluation procedures are accomplished in a fair and consistent manner that encourages accountability, growth, and excellence, in accordance with law, board policy, and contractual requirements.Observe teachers, hold follow up conferences and maintain records on suggestions for needed improvement.Recommend opportunities for effective staff development that address the needs of the instructional program and needs of the staff, including workshops, conferences, visitations, and sessions in which the staff shares successful practices and strategies.Maintain financial records for the class, ensuring that school and district policies are followed.
