Position : REMOTE Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description : Acara Solutions is looking for an Quality Assurance Analyst for our Client located in Atlanta, GA
The Quality Assurance Analyst will plan, coordinate, analyze and develop test plans, scripts, test cases and test data for functional testing.
Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans
Execute functional test plans manually and conduct explatory testing
Backend database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including validating stored procedures, jobs and triggers
Identify potential quality issues and escalate/report issues in a timely manner
Ensure software deliverables are meeting functional specifications and requirements
Pay and Benefits:
The Salary for this position is $ 45.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).

Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 5 years’ QA experience in software development
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including creating and manipulating test data
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in documenting testing processes
In depth experience working amongst development teams, project management and stakeholders
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in writing and executing SQL query commands
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
Strong understanding of database structures and design
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher
Experience working in an Agile development team
Experience in converting from manual testing to automated testing
Superior technical documentation skills
Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and requirements
Motivated team player
