Job Description : Parts Specialist PositionSpence Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac – Thomasville, GASpence is seeking a customer focused Parts Specialist who has the drive, desire and determination to grow and develop a profitable parts department.The Parts Specialist is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below.Provides retail and professional customers with excellent serviceParticipates in forecasts and establishes goals and objectivesHelps accomplish goals and meet deadlinesOrganizes and understands all information pertaining to the department to ensure an efficient and profitable departmentUtilizes available information to ensure proper resolution of problemsEstablishes pricing parameters in each customer category that generates sufficient gross profit while maintaining customer loyaltyFollows up on department orders to ensure parts availability.Ensures no aged receivables and if necessary calls on and collects on aged receivables customers.Ensures warranty parts returns are sent back in a timely manner and GM obsolescence returns are submitted and returned according GM policy and procedures.BenefitsPositive, professional work environment.
