Position : Director of Operations
Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to oversee the production and operations of 2-year-old camper van manufacture. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all operations including production and scheduling and developing a manufacturing process focused on quality and efficiency. We expect you to have a deep understanding of production principles and procedures. The ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day as most of our production is custom manufacturing. If you are up to it, we’d like to talk to you. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer expectations.Responsibilities: Coordinate with line managers to formulate objectives and understand project requirementsEstimate costs and prepare budgetsDevelop manufacturing process focused on quality and efficiencyMonitor production to resolve issuesSupervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers, etc.)Determine the number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.)Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment, etc.Ensure output meets quality standardsEnforce health and safety precautionsReport to ownershipSkills: Experience in operations managementDeep knowledge of production managementUnderstanding of quality standards and health and safety regulationsKnowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting conceptsExperience in reporting on key production metricsProficient in MS Office and ERP softwareOutstanding communication abilityExcellent organizational and leadership skillsAttention to detailStrong decision-making skills and a results-driven approachJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $67,000.00 – $82,000.00 per yearSchedule:10 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekend availabilityApplication Question(s):Please list 3 – 4 dates and times you’re available for an interview.Education:Associate (Preferred)Experience:Operations management: 4 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
