Position : Snackbar Attendants Needed for our 2022 Season – $17 per hour

Forest Highlands Golf Club is looking for a few great Snackbar Attendants for our 2022 Season. In this position the sbacjkbar attendants are expected to be attentive to our guest’s needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed (including but not limited to member recognition, menu knowledge and service mechanics). Snack Bar Attendants are expected to have some basic cooking knowledge. This position provides food and beverage service to all patrons while they are either in between golfing or just needing a quick bite to eat.
Some of the tasks to be accomplished are (not an all inclusive list):
Greeting the member and their guests in a polite and warm tone.
Taking their order and having the food served in a quick but thorough manner.
Be able to prepare sandwiches, hot dogs and other grillable items if needed.
Responsible for stocking food, beverages and other supplies daily.
Communicating with the kitchen to ensure that all supplies needed for the day are available and at your disposal.
Issue receipts while ensuring the member matches the signature.
Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed to keep the snackbar looking neat and tidy.
Ensure that there are napkins, utensils , condiments etc readily available.
Minimum Requirements:
Neat appearance, complying with all uniform and hygiene standards.
Must have or be abel to obtain a Food Handlers Card.
Familiarity with basic cooking skills
Friendly, outgoing personality.
Must be able to interact with members.
Positive attitude and ability to work as a team member.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Must have ability to stand/walk throughout duration of shift.
Must have a clean background check.
Availability to work flexible shifts which may include days, evening, weeknds and holidays.
. Requirements:
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Position is in a busy golf/country club in a private residential community.
Ability to lift up to 25lbs regularly; up to 50lbs occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull.
Must be able to frequently walk, sit, stand, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop kneel, crouch, adjust vision accordingly (close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception)
Exposed to outside weather conditions including low temperatures.
Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and a quiet work environment.
Continuous ability to talk and hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
