Job Description : FirstFleet is a national trucking company with 3000+ trucks. Our Tolleson, AZ is hiring for a Full Time Fleet DispatcherWe are looking for a reliable Dispatcher to act as a communication point. You will be required to carry out a variety of tasks, depending on the days schedule. The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of informationSchedule:Night shift: 16:00-4:00 am (4 days off a week every other week, 3 days off every other week)Responsibilities include but not limited to: – Scheduling pickup/delivery appointments- Processing multiple calls simultaneously from internal as well as external customers- Provide Drivers with pertinent information regarding shipments and daily coordination of regional drivers- Dispatches drivers according to department/customer requests and in compliance with DOT- regulations and company policies and procedures- Monitoring both drivers in relation to their remaining hours of service and equipment as to its availability- Ensure partner carriers receive their daily allotment, knowing the order in which carriers are to receive their loads- Assist driver’s needs above planning.
