Job Description : Position SummaryJoyful Jobs is recruiting for a busy Tucson-based entrepreneur and Chairman of a holding company with several growing subsidiaries, who is in search of a representative to assist him with logistics for his various endeavors. The role will not be a traditional executive assistant, working behind the scenes doing only administrative work, but will be highly visible to clients and VIPs and will actively represent the Chairman in many settings. As such, the successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a knack for business acumen.The Chairman’s companies span a number of industries including insurtech, entrepreneurial education, venture capital/investment, apparel, and more.Examples of work: Actively arrange for Chairman’s participation and personally participate in Holding Company Chairman-led meetings, client engagements, company conferences, customer outings including jet travel, golf, skiing, boating or otherDirect engagement with other Board members, clients and other parties who assist with the Chairman’s workOccasionally work closely with team members of Chairman’s companies’ leadership for similar duties as requestedTravel occasionally to accompany Chairman or to meet clients and guests for meetings and events domesticallyAnticipate and effectively address Chairman’s needsQualifications: At least 8 years of professional work experience in a business settingBusiness-savvy with excellent written and oral communication skillsProven experience with meeting/event planning, arranging travel, and basic expense trackingExcellent at building relationships with customers and clients (business development/sales/marketing background helpful but not required)Comfortable attending business events such as dinners, golf outings, etcWilling to travel within the state of Arizona and the US roughly 6-9 times per year, sometimes with very short noticeVery organized and capable of representing Chairman across multiple companies and projects as well as managing business matters for eachBased in Tucson or Phoenix metro areas and willing to be in either location or travel on request with little noticeHighly preferred: knowledge/background in golfing, as this is a large component of the Chairman’s lifestyle and business relationshipsHighly preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or similarCompensation: $60,000-90,000 annually plus employee benefits.
