Job Description : Summary of Position: Assistant Superintendent CMA is seeking Assistant Construction Superintendents with NYC project experience. Experience with mid-rise, out-of-the-ground commercial, condo, hotel and mixed-use construction in New York City and the surrounding boroughs.Compensation will be commensurable with the applicant’s experience.Applicant must have strong leadership skills and can manage our field teams to safe and successful completion of our Projects.Primary Function:Assist the Project Superintendent with all phases of construction from initial planning to completion- Work with Project Management Team to assist in planning and executing work in placePrimary Duties:Must demonstrate understanding of construction documentsManage the flow of information from the Project Management Team to the Project Superintendent team.Work with onsite superintendent to facilitate and maintain all daily, weekly, and monthly project field reporting requirementsCoordinate field work at the Project Superintendent’s directionAssists the Project Superintendent and PM in planning and executionAssists the Team in dealings with NYC Agencies including the DOB and DOTMaintains extraordinary relationships with NYC Agency inspectors, department chiefs and heads of NYC utility companiesWork with CMA project management team to generate RFI’s and correspondence from the field.Ensure outstanding project safety, subcontractor performance, on-time scheduling, specification conformance and quality controlMust have knowledge of Chapter 33 of NYC Building Code.Working with Site safety Mangers to comply with NYC DOB Chapter 33 CodeQualifications & Experience:1-3 years of onsite experience and knowledge of commercial, residential and mixed-use construction as a superintendentCurrent SST CardExcellent communication skillsDemonstrated skills in organizing and evaluating informationMust be proficient in typical construction project software including MS Office, Project, and ProcoreMust possess unquestionable personal integrity and a superior reputation.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 – $160,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Construction Assistant Superintendent: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:SST Card (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
