Latin legendends like Tito Puente, Marc Anthony, Celia Cruz, as well as contemporary superstars like Drake, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Justin Timberlake and Carti B to name a few have all graced our stage.SOB’S is an artists’ musicians room. For young emerging talent it is a platform to explore and be exposed on a world stage. For seasoned artists, it is an intimate setting to connect with their fans on a personal level.SOB’S has a 40 year history of presenting music and culture to New York. It is one of the only true supper clubs and music venues in Manhattan.About the Position :Job Title: Direct Booking Assistant to Head Booker /OwnerJob Description: SOB’S is looking for a full time music booking assistant. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be passionate about music, very familiar with contemporary up and coming artists. They should be versed in R&B, Urban, Latin, Soul and Alternative. This candidate must be comfortable working days and some nights and enjoy going out to see music.Key responsibilities include but not limited to:*Administration skills of contracts and production*Understand and convey production schedules to night management*Manage all logistical production including working with our sound and light team to establish the needs of the night*Work with marketing team to facilitate a successful event*Work with ticketing company to upload all shows and to stay on top of ticket sales*Create a liaison with artists management to understand the needs of the artist with riders and advanced documentationCredentials:- 2 years experience in the music business- Experience in live music venues- Extremely organized- Comfortable working late nights- Excellent administrative skills- Spanish language a plusSalary55k annualJob Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:New York, NY 10014: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Social media management: 2 years (Preferred)booking: 2 years (Preferred)Negotiation: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
