Job Description : Job Description Customer Service RepresentativeUniversal Plastics family is the largest custom thermoformer in the North-Eastern United States. Our award-winning engineering & design, strong quality standards and excellent customer service have made us the thermoformer of choice for our customers for the last 50+ years.Universal Plastics is looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to handle our vast line of customers in a small company manufacturing environment.This is a high visibility customer facing position. Successful candidate to be part of the facility core management team. We are looking for a high energy individual with strong organizational skills and experience handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The ability to prioritize and communicate effectively is critical.Responsibilities to include:Responds to customer inquiries by telephone or email to provide problem resolution.Resolves complex or unusual request and problems that may require a customized response and communicates solution or requested information to the customer.Analyze a customer’s service needs and refer to other service or technical departments for follow up or additional information as needed.Provide updates to other internal teams on customer needs and factors that contribute to customer satisfaction.Communicate scheduling and price information with new order entry.Involvement in sales, invoicing and collection, shipping, purchasing, scheduling, engineering and estimating functions.Data maintenance and reporting.The ideal candidate works independently within established procedures associated with this specific job function.The ideal candidate requirements:Strong attention to detail ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities as neededExceptional written and verbal communication skills; experience with business writing a plusMinimum 3 years of experience in commercial role for a manufacturing businessERP system user experience.
