Position : Front Desk Receptionist @ Boutique Private Practice
Job Description : Seeking experienced front-desk personnel for renowned Ob/Gyn surgical specialist practice. Full-time candidates only (10:00am-6:00pm workdays, M-F).We are a small practice and focus on quality patient care rather than high volume.Responsibilities can include:- Patient chart preparation- Insurance screening and verification- MRI and prescription pre-approvals- Electronically converting medical records- Chaperoning doctors in patient examinations- Chart and record filing- Managing and coordinating patient schedule- New patient outreach and intake- Delegating patient concerns to doctors- Relaying patients’ medical results (i.e. bloodwork)- Miscellaneous administrative tasksSkills and Requirements:- Ability to multitask in quick pace setting- Firm grasp of medical terminology- Professional communication skills- Experience with high-volume phone system- Exceptional interpersonal skillsPreferred minimum of 3-years in the medical field, preferably in the OB/Gyn fieldAssociates and/or Bachelors degree preferred but not required, other medical certifications including Medical Assistants welcomedPlease submit CV (including cover letter) through Indeed.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: From $25.00 per hourBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftCOVID-19 considerations:mask all times, limit one patient in waitinng areaEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
