Job Description : Fast casual restaurant is looking for a Director of Operations!Responsibilities include:Operations Develop and implement all menus, promotions and programs in accordance with our standardsCreate and execute marketing plans to build salesCreate and oversee completion of location business objectives Client/Partner RelationshipExecute primary relationship with business and key revenue client/partnersBuild and maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, subcontractors and team membersDirect store management in maintaining day to day operational quality and efficiencySupport and communicate Company initiativesEnsure team members have the tools necessary to successfully perform their duties and responsibilitiesEnsure quality standards are maintained at all timesHold team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest serviceRegularly obtains feedback from guests to improve operationsRespond and assist in any departmental guest service issuesEnsure that communication log is maintained in both FOH and BOHHold and document weekly meetings with managers with the goal to be informational, fact finding, idea generating and problem solvingFinance Develop budget to deliver profit and service goals, as well as meeting partner expectationsDevelop and uphold location P&L expectationsAccept and support weekly/biweekly forecast from Finance and CEOImplements cost controls as needed to achieve positive financial resultsAchieve assigned budget goals, daily sales and assigned cost goalsOversee completion of required daily reporting, department reports and compiles month-end reportsControlsOversee control of all inventories, product cost, cash handling and purchasing Ensure that all security, safety and sanitation standards are achievedFollow and enforces responsible alcohol service policies (if applicable)Ensure team members adhere to Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbookImplement and maintain good safety and sanitation practicesLeadership and internal relationship buildingUse all performance management tools, including development plans, to provide guidance and feedback to teamUse engagement strategies to recognize, motivate and celebrate individuals and teams delivering outstanding performance throughout locationCreate the vision of the location by sharing Company history with team members, managers, guests and partnersPromote a cooperative work environment, maximize productivity and moraleConduct regularly scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team membersWork with Human resources to interview, train and develop team members according to company guidelinesDisplay a positive and welcoming demeanor towards team membersMentor managers to develop their skills and leadership abilitiesCommunicate effectively with management team and team membersAttend seminars and functions to network, understand industry trends, and to maintain relevant industry expertiseEnsure compliance with all applicable employment and health and safety laws, rules, and regulationsPromote company objectives by leading by examplePerforms other incidental and related duties as required and assignedJob Type: Full-timePay: From $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayOn callWeekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate:New York, NY 10018: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Willingness to travel:50% (Preferred)Work Location: One location
