City Winery is seeking a people enthusiast with a passion for music, food, wine, and parties to join our team as an HR Coordinator. This role will serve as a cultural champion and provide support for a wide variety of human resources activities including day-to-day personnel administration, onboarding and hiring processes, and much more. This individual should have a flexible, self-starter mindset and a desire to grow in the world of Human Resources.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 1 years’ experience in a human resources coordinator role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Prior experience utilizing HRIS software.
Able to deliver effective results, meet deadlines and targets.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Intermediate skill level of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with all internal divisions.
Must be organized and detail oriented and be effective in the use of time management.
Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
Able to work on a broad variety of projects.
Overview of Responsibilities
General personnel administration, maintenance, and follow up including filing, scanning, reporting.
Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
Redirect HR related inquiries, calls, messages and distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team.
Support and handle pre-employment onboarding administrative processes.
Conduct all necessary pre-employment duties for onboarding of new hires.
Maintain confidential personnel files with all necessary documents as required by state and federal regulations.
Assist in ad hoc HR projects, tasks, and other duties as needed.
Perform any and all other related functions, projects, initiatives as per business need.
This is a full time benefits-eligible position.
