Job Description : Job DescriptionWe’re currently seeking a Service Manager to join our newest location.Five-star amenity and conference centers focused on personalized service and wellness, outfitted with state-of-the-art meeting spaces, café/lounge areas, functional fitness facilities, and a curated, locally sourced food and beverage program.The Service Manager is responsible for managing the Service Team and is responsible for executing on the client BEO’s from the start to the finish of the program. They are also responsible for the Café operations and maintaining the entire amenities space including the conference center, tenant lounge, barista bar, and game room. They are expected to have an innate sense of hospitality, and an attention to detail that manifests itself in a five-star experience for the clients.This person takes ownership of the entire client and tenant experience and expects excellence from his Service Team and Barista Staff. If needed, it’s expected that this person is trained to operate the café as a Barista.This person is expected to display leadership through the entire operation, lead by example, be a self-starter, and hold themselves and their team members accountable for a high-quality product.RESPONSIBILITIES· Execute world-class hospitality standards in accordance with the Company’s principles.· Completing the staffing and scheduling of the service team and barista team· Executing all F&B setup in accordance with brand standards and in unison with the Culinary Team· Ordering of supplies, snacks, beverages, and any other standard items.· Hands-on support of the Production and Technology Teams.· Supporting the General Manager in paying invoices and approving payroll.· Support or execute on opening and closing standards.· Conduct training for the service team to exceed standards expected by @Ease Hospitality· Observe inventory counts and keep par levels in house accordingly.· Order and oversee temp staff personnel according to business levels.· Supervise the support team and service staff in setting up for the following days program in accordance with the Production and Technology teams.· Make certain the client is satisfied with the service team and their entire program experiences· Maintain a clean and tidy amenities center, consisting of conference center, tenant lounge, game room, barista bar.QUALIFICATIONSGED/High School DiplomaAt least 2 years of hospitality experience a plusBasic understanding of food and beverageConfident communication skillsFood Hygiene/Food Handling license a plusAbility to move around for an extended period of timeAbility to lift, carry or move conference chairs, tables, buffet equipment or related conference items.· Flexible and long hours sometimes requiredWORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates currently at a commercial office building in midtown Manhattan.PHYSICAL DEMANDThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.· Ability to walk between properties, multiple times per day.· Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.· Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
