Job Description : Logistics ManagerLogistics Manager at Azzure Home is responsible to monitor and ensure timely delivery of international import shipments.Overview:Receive documentationBook with ForwarderSubmit documentation to:Accounts PayableBrokersWarehousesEnsure containers being picked up and clearedFOB-POE processing and documentationSupport Exenta ERP systemResponsibilities: Receive, review and process import documentation from production coordinators and vendors overseas. Provide booking instruction and timely follow-up with vendors till shipments arrival. Ensure accurate shipment documents from vendors and compliance with the data in Simparel system.Communicate with our freight forwarders, broker and international vendors. Book all incoming overseas shipments to ensure rapid and on time delivery based on Azzure cancel dates and customer cancel dates (i.e. order cancel date of 1/1 should be ETD 1/4 the latest).Create commercial invoice and packing list used for import / export purpose. Monitor the invoicing of FOB and POE shipments.Ensure timely receipt of arrival notices and original documentation for prompt release through U.S. Customs. Monitor container release status (OBL, Telex release, custom release, freight release), making sure shipments get fully released before ETA , Submit all payments for processing in advance to avoid further delay. Make sure containers are picked up before LFD. Question any demurrage charges and get them resolved.FOB – after production coordinator confirms with factory on shipments, track to ensure shipments are being booked and follow up with document submission to our customer’s forwarderPOE – Track to ensure shipment is received on time based on customer cancel date and provide pickup requests to our customerReview and submit Invoices to Accounting Department. Audited HTS code, duty rate and duty amount, and reviewed duty reports filed by brokers. Review and processed invoices for all incoming shipments, including invoices for vendors, freight forwarders and brokers.Special projects as assigned pertaining to Production Planning and LogisticsAssist in solving inter-company and vendor production issues.
