Position : Planning Manager
Job Description : The Planning job is responsible for overseeing the modeling and forecasting of print and digital circulation across multiple magazines. The position will be communicating with various departments within consumer marketing to maintain up-to-date outlooks regarding financial and circulation performance. The position provides the opportunity to provide insight and opportunities to department directors. Areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to the following:Monthly update and balance the circulation planning model.Maintain excel digital modelsInitialization of model one or two times per yearUpdate monthly production and revenue forecasts.Monthly variance reconciliations for directorsCommunicate with various departments regarding campaign and acquisition performance.Provide solutions or recommendations based on reporting analysis.Generate reports for monthly reporting packageCompile and produce yearly financial and production budgets for multiple magazines.Set print orders and review with management teamWork with AAM team on publisher statements.Update/work with clients on monthly financial closeRequired SkillsStrong analytical and reasoning skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Be able to work independently and pro-actively.Strong communication skills.Be able to handle multiple projects.Publishing or Finance experience preferred.Schedule:Role will be hybrid.
