Job Description : JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Warehouse-Facilities, SpecialistLocation: Louisville/Boulder, CO Position Summary: The SP Group is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting individual to join the team as a Contract Warehouse-Facilities Specialist to implement/maintain the Coupa automated inventory control system and implement/maintain asset management software for tracking equipment maintenance and calibration for in Louisville, CO. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining processes for automated inventory control of lab supplies and consumables as well as implementing and maintaining an asset management database used for tracking the maintenance, calibration and repair of laboratory and facility equipment to support the operation of an oncology research facility.*Roles and Responsibilities of the Position: Implement inventory control methods including material bar coding, raw material receipt, material issuance, automatic reorder points and stock levels.Implement lab supply inventory systemSpot-check inventory of general lab supplies and adjust reorder points as necessary. Perform inventory cycle counts.Receive, unload, stock and issue materials to inventory or satellite stock rooms.Handle materials and freight using a fork truck, manual and electric pallet jacks and handcarts.Assist with warehouse and facilities operations as necessary.Implement and maintain asset management software for the maintenance, repair and calibration of all equipment and instrumentation in the facility.Complete data migration of lab instrument details from existing spreadsheets into Blue Mountain RAM platform.Compile inventory of facility and lab equipment for locations in Louisville and Boulder Colorado and affix asset tags for database tracking.Management of external vendor service contracts for laboratory and facility equipment.Scheduling/coordination of periodic service or calibration of equipment.Ongoing updates of equipment records.Compliance with safety guidelines.Other duties as assigned.*Required Qualifications and Preferred Background: Experience in a warehouse environment.Previous experience implementing and maintaining inventory management systems.Proficient in SOPs, Coupa, Microsoft Office, Veeva, Maximo, Blue Mountain RAM or similar equipment databases.Must possess a valid driver’s license.Strong Verbal, Written, and Customer Service communication skills with an enthusiasm to work in a collaborative team environment.Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.Self-motivated.Physical Demands/ Travel: The physical demands of this job are consistent with warehouse environments. Employee must be able to stand/walk for several hours per shift, lift 50 pounds, safely handle hazardous materials and operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, drum dollies, company vehicles and lift trucks.The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Work Environment: This position’s work environment is in a warehouse, machine shop and laboratory.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.*To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the role and responsibilities satisfactorily.
